Fastest Installation of Variety of Canisters
ATDPS has approximately 10 different types of canisters (side, box, drum, etc.) which can store up to 100 – 500 pills.
ACRS Chip
ACRS (Automatic Canister Recognition System) Chip is a unique chip installed in each canister, and it is recognizable in any position.
It provides the convenience of no restriction in position, the security of automatic recognition, and an expanded usage of more canisters with storage of surplus canisters.
MICOM
Each cartridge has an individual built-in MICOM (Micro-processor Enabled Computer) that allows independent functions. This combination helps users to operate the ideal system.
Digitalised Control Technology
The canister motor uses a (servo system) which digitises all controls.
Barcode System and Package Printing
Each medicine and canister has its own barcode. This barcode system prevents refilling the wrong medicine.
An electronic scale is used to weight the medicine's original weight, which is then saved in a database. This system allows the most efficient management of all types of medicines.
This feature is highly desirable for medicines which require precises quantity and inventory control, such as anti-psychotic medicine.
STS Tray for less frequently used medicine, uniquely shaped medicine, or half tablets
Reservation and continuous packaging functions are strengthened through prescription packaging for medicines such as half tablets, less frequently used medicines or uniquely shaped medicines. Furthermore, a Special Tablet System (STS) tray is installed to minimize pill dropping time and to avoid pill collision.
Medicines can be prepared for several patients on one STS tray. This function reduces preparation time.
Choice of Medicine Preparation Method
The system can be effectively used as per the user's choice, with six different medicine preparation methods (canister priority medicine preparation, STS priority medicine preparation, medicine preparation in order, canister/STS toggle medicine preparations, D/A medicine preparation, D/S medicine preparation).
Voice Message
A voice message (male/female voice) will let the user know the status of the equipment during operation. This rapid processing system reduces preparation time.

Meditec has developed a unique software system which supports hospital/pharmacy digital processing. This software digitises the entire medicine preparation process for each individual patient's prescription such as all types of medicine, dispensing, packaging, medication information printing and instructions. The product number and expiration date are also managed through our software, allowing for continuous inventory management. You can only experience this through Meditec developed premium software.

1. Pharmacist service Pharmacy server (transmits prescription from pharmacy software to ATDPS server).
2. ATDPS Interface server ATDPS (medicine selection, dispensing, packaging, barcode and information printing).
