The BX is an affordable system which can offer all the benefits of the larger machines, except for a reduced number of cassettes. The BX range has 80, 160 or 235 cassettes, however the STS Tray can be readily used for medication not otherwise stored in the machine.

Fully labelled, tamper evident compliance packets are produced easily and quickly. Each packet displays vital patient and drug information together with dosage strength and administration times. Unlimited packet formats allow for Barcodes, batch numbers, bed and ward numbers to be printed.

Fixed Medicine Storage Device

In this fixed medicine storage device, canisters are located in the centre, left and right so that medicines can be immediately refilled in the canisters. The location of the medicine can be confirmed easily.

 

Touch screen

The touch screen, which requires no separate operating device, can be simply and conveniently manipulated. Depending on the user's position, the monitor's angle can be adjusted toward the direction the user wants.

 

Voice message

The voice messages will announce the status of the equipment such as door opening, ribbon or paper shortage and various other errors. This function enables users to easily confirm the equipment status while working on other

 

Easy to clean

It is designed and assembled so that the user can simply and conviniently clean the interior of the equipment.

 

Instant adhesive and cutting device

When the paper runs out, it is instantly glued to the end of new paper with heat which allows continuous usage of the packaging paper. Upon completion of medicine preparation the paper is automatically cut for convenient operation.

 
 

Customised Unit-Dose and Mutli-Dose printing

Single tablet packaging or a variety of multi tablet packaging is available. It is also possible to print size and direction of the printing according to user request.

Up to 30 lines can be printed (name of the medicine, bar code, efficacy, patient name and instructions, etc.)

The set-up is done according to user's order. It is possible to set up font, text size and number of letters per line. Text position and direction is programmable.

STS (Special Tablet System)

Reservation and continuous packaging functions are strengthened through the prescription packaging for medicines such as half tablets, less frequently used medicines, or uniquely shaped medicines.

Furthermore, a special tray is installed to minimise pill dropping time and to avoid pill collisions.

ACRS Chip (optional)

This unique individual chip allows for automatic recognition of canisters.

Once installed in a canister, the chip will allow for automatic recognition of canisters regardless of position.

Extended usage of extra canisters is provided with the storage of surplus canisters.

Barcode system (optional)

Using medicine and the canister's own barcode, refilling of the wrong medicine can be prevented. An electronic scale is used to weight the medicine's original weight and the data base is updated.

This system offers the most efficient management of all types of medicines.

This feature is highly desirable for medicines which require precise quantity and inventory control, such as anti-psychotic medicine.
